    Ceramic Vase, Van Briggle Art Pottery. This tall slender lilac colored vase is decorated with three irises. The blossoms circle the vase at its widest point with the stems and leaves trailing toward the base. The vase gradually increases in diameter from the base to an inch below the rim then tapers to a 2 3/8" wide circular opening.

    Ceramic vase, Van Briggle Pottery. This turquoise blue vase is decorated with three floral groups. The largest flowers are placed at the shoulder of the vase. Two smaller bulbs are placed below them with the long thin leaves and stems among the flowers. The leaves and stalks continue down to the base. The shoulder of the vase curves in toward the center to form a 3 1/4" circular opening.

    Ceramic vase, Van Briggle Art Pottery. This tall slender case is glazed in Aspen Sunshine and decorated with three groups of tulips. Each group consists of one open flower with two buds surrounded by long leaves and occupies the length of the vase. The leaves have been over sprayed lightly with green and a touch of rosy pink colors the inside of the open flower.   6. 2004.0031.0001 - Lampshade

    Lampshade with gold metal turn around top and bottom. A plastic barrier wraps around the shade and is held down with 14 pins. Under the barrier is a peachy color material with pressed, dried flowers and butterflies; along with a blond hair like material all along the bottom edge. There are a total of four butterflies with one damaged.

    Lamp Base, by Van Briggle: Mulberry colored with three rabbits circling the base. The lamp fixture with socket is 3 1/2" tall; the base is 7" tall. There is no closed bottom on the base. The electric cord comes down from the fixture and out of the base through a small hole 1/2" from the base between 2 of the rabbits.

    Flower vase, the top 3" of the case has the same diameter (2 1/4") as the base. The bottom 3" of the vase gradually curves out then back down to the base sort of like a bulb. Four flower stems symmetrically positioned around the vase rise out of the base to connect with a flower at the top of the vase. The vase is green and the flowers/stems are a light taupe color.

    Ceramic vase, Van Briggle Art Pottery. This tall slender turquoise blue vase has the figure of a nude woman coming from an open flower at the rim. The rim sweeps up from the woman's left arm to a point opposite the figure, then sweeps back down to her waistline. The floral motif is continued around the bulge of the vase below the rim and down the side of the case opposite the woman.

    Lamp base, Van Briggle Art Pottery Noveau Lamp. The turquoise blue lamps is somewhat gourd-shaped being a lot larger at the bottom than the top. A pointed broad leaf pattern swirls around the base as three curvy stems climb toward the top of the lamp. A brown plastic electrical cord connected to the socket shell is threaded into the top of the lamp and comes out a small hole near the base. A Van Briggle double A logo is seen on the vase above...

    Ceramic vase, Van Briggle Art Pottery. The slender vase has an Aspen Sunrise glaze and a round base. The body of the vase curves one way from the base then curves back the other way giving the vase a concave line on one side and a convex line on the other side. The rim is somewhat oval in shape with the side along the convex line rising to a point above the other side of the rim.

    Pottery mug, Van Briggle Art Pottery. Two irises decorate this dark green mug, one on either side of the handle. The mug is concave in shape with the sides gradually increasing in diameter from the rim before returning to the base diameter.

  16. 2005.0011.0001 - Ashtray

    Ceramic ashtray, turquoise blue. This tear-shaped ashtray resembles Van Briggle pottery, but has no maker's marks. "BROADMOOR HOTEL COLORADO SPRINGS" wraps around the bowl at the round end of the ashtray. Above the bowl on the pointed end of the ashtray are two polo players with mallets on horseback.

    Ceramic vase, Van Briggle Art Pottery. The burgundy vase gradually increases in diameter from the base to about 4 1/2" then tapers toward the mouth. It is decorated with a floral motif with the flowers at the bulge of the vase and the stems toward the base.
