"Fireworks 1928" Photograph of fireworks exploding at summit of Pikes Peak, with the spark-streamers blown by the wind. Printed on back: "AdAmAn Club, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Leaving the "City of Sunshine" bound for the snow banks on the summit of Pike's Peak to hold it's annual New Year's Meeting and Unique Fireworks Display, Jan 1 - 1928." Handwritten on back: The big 40 foot "Pin" wheel was not the success anticipated on account of the "75 mile gale." This was fired after all other bright lights were burned out. Maker's Mark: H.L.
