Photograph album. 10.5" x 8.5" hard, fancy cover with fishing village scene. Twelve two-sided pages. Book contains mostly outdoor snapshots. First page has pictures of Lem Gammon's frame first store in Ramah and two pictures the brick second store building which included the bank he owned. Interesting photos include a couple in a steam-powered(?) car, ca. 1895 and the Gammon Family at the Pikes Peak Cog RR in the 1890s. One page has four tintypes. Postcard in the back of the book is postmarked August, 1908 and shows six pictures of early Ramah, Colorado. |
