Three (3) cubic feet of materials related to the Templeton Family, including Rev. William G., Lillie, Henrietta, Oscar, Fay, Clyde, and Zillah Templeton. Includes papers and photographs related to the family. Rev. William G. Templeton (1851-1919) moved to Colorado Springs in 1897 as a minister of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In the early 1900's, W.G. Templeton patented inventions such as a cheese cutter, a postage vending machine, an oil pump, storage bins and a spring-less scale. |
