The collection includes materials related to the life of Clarence Coil (1905-1978). There are letters, maps, photographs and newspaper articles related to the Pikes Peak Range Riders, Air Force Academy, AdAmAn Club, and mineral collecting. There is a photo album that contains photos of areas in Colorado, the US, and abroad, a books of the Pikes Peak Range Rider members, a book on the first fifty years of the AdAmAn club, and pamphlets and booklets on minerals. Photographs and negatives of people, Coil's family, vehicles, the Air Force Academy and areas around Colorado are also included. There are many oversized negatives that focus primarily on conventions at the Broadmoor, the Colorado Springs High School football team, band, orchestra, and clubs, and companies in Colorado Springs in the 1940s and 1950s.
